Dr. Rushiraj Jani is currently serving as Associate Professor at the Institute of Pharmacy, Ganpat University. He holds a distinguished academic record throughout his pharmacy education, having earned two gold medals as the University Topper and Branch Topper during his M.Pharm from Gujarat Technological University.

Dr. Jani began his professional career in the Formulation Development division of Zydus Cadila and later completed his Ph.D. as an industrial research scholar from RK University, Rajkot. He brings over 13.5 years of extensive industrial experience from leading pharmaceutical organizations including Zydus Lifesciences, FTF Pharma Pvt. Ltd., and Intas Pharmaceuticals Ltd., where he last served as Team Lead in the Formulation Development division.

His core expertise lies in the development and scale-up of solid oral dosage forms, including Immediate Release, Modified Release, Effervescent, Bilayer, Flash Release, Herbal, Nutraceuticals, 505(b)(2) products, NCE-1 molecules, and Para IV filings. He has successfully led the commercialization of over 30 formulations for the domestic market and more than 15 formulations for regulated markets such as the US, Europe, and Canada.

Dr. Jani has contributed to academia through one international book chapter and five peer-reviewed publications encompassing both research and review articles. His academic-industrial synergy continues to drive innovation in pharmaceutical formulation science and regulatory strategy.
