Dr. Nikunjana Patel works as Assistant Professor and Head of Pharmacognosy Department. After completing Master of Pharmacy from M. S. University, Baroda, natural inclination for teaching drew to academic and started teaching at Shree S. K. Patel College of Pharmaceutical Education & Research, Ganpat University in 2005. During 16 years of academic experience, she was awarded a GUNI-President Award for staff excellence, ASIA-GCC Iconic Women Leader Award for Excellence and Leadership and “Career Award for Young Teachers” by AICTE. She has accomplished various research projects, authored numerous international articles and book chapters, also affiliated with APTI, IPA, IPGA, Indian Society of Pharmacognosy as life member. she is serving as reviewer in various peer reviewed national and international journals and guided 12 M. Pharm and 4 PhD students so far. Presently working as president, SPER-Women Forum, Gujarat and Coordinator of IPGA-WF, Gujarat.
